The great return of Croatian pianist Ivo Pogorelich to Santa Cecilia
One of the most anticipated concerts at the Santa Cecilia National Academy is December 1. Croatian pianist Ivo Pogorelich, a former ” terrible enfant ” of classical music returning to Italy after a long time, is expected to perform at the concert. The concert will take place on Sunday at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on December 1st at 20.30. This recital is performed as part of the Chamber Music Season.
Who is Ivo Pogorelich?
Educated in Moscow where he studied with Aliza Kezeradze, the Croatian pianist became famous at the age of 22 during a competition where he did not win.
