The first modern ballerina Isidora Dunkan

One of precursor modern dancer, called the free dance, was Isadora Duncan (Born in Califormia in 1877). She danced barefoot, with issued hair and wide thin dress, breaking strict rules of classic ballet. Inspired by the art of dance in Ancient Greece, her movements are inspired by the moment if free ideas improvisations. In the early years of the twentieth century (XX) Isadora was recommended to go to a place with proper climate for her children and decided to come in Southern Albania, exactly in Delvina. Even today the people of this city, once sufficiently developed, can give you information about where she lived.

Coincidentally in thes city was born our great choreographer Agron Aliaj.
