Cassette sales rose in 2017

Apparently, in 2017, people turned to classical music variants recorded on tapes and CDs to get the new music or soundtrack to well-known films. According to Nielsen Music in the US, sales of tapes increased by 35% in 2017, with over 174,000 copies compared to 129,000 sold in 2016. Among the public’s favorites were the Gardians of the Galaxy sound column with a quarter Eminem’s album “The Eminem Show”, “Kanye West’s” Yeesus, and Nirvana’s “Nevermind” were also the most-selected ones. “In Britain, Ed Sheeran and Liam Gallagher were the ones who dominated the drives. as in the case of tapes, sales of cds increased, and over 4 million albums were sold in 2017.
