Keeps following the successes of the students from the Faculty of Arts in Peja

Brass students’ successes of the Faculty of Arts and Music and Peja are not stopping. This year, from 26.04.19 to 28.04.19 in Shkodra, there took place the XVIII edition of “Pjeter Gaci” of competitions of instrumentalists from all Albanian areas in Shkodra. In this edition where competitions are held in several categories, where 200 students are presented in four days in five disciplines. The instrumentalists presented their achievements in schools and lessons learned from their professors.

Regjep Karaqi from Peja studying in the clarinet instrument of Prof. Assoc. Fatbardh Gashi. He appeared with the works “Introduction theme and variations” by composer Carl Maria Weber and “Il carnevale di Venezia” by composer Alamiro Giampieri in piano accompaniment of Professor Besim Qorri.

His performance was impressive in front of the public and the evaluation commission of these competitions, Regie was excellent where the commission decided to reward him with the absolute first place in the category G of the instrumentalists. This year, for the first time, the award “Gjovalin Shestani”, the well-known flautist Shkodran for the best instrumentalist of the spiritual instruments for all categories and commission for this prize, was unanimous to share Regakes Karachi. Regardless of the talent and love he has for the clarinet instrument, he is working hard to achieve even more in the clarinet and thanking his Professor Fatbardh Gashi for working hard with students his and his work is being rewarded in these cultural epochs.
