VC YOUNG ARTIST | Jonian Ilias Kadesha — “There is an Element of Pure Genius in this Young Man”
Violinist Jonian Ilias Kadesha has been described as having “the appearance of a mad professor, and the energetic playing style of a Paganini”
A student of Antje Weithaas at the Kronberg Academy and a former student of Salvatore Accardo, Grigori Zhislin, and Ulf Wallin, Jonian was a first prize winner at the 2018 Young Classical Artists Trust Auditions.
His recent solo engagements include performances with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and CHAARTS Chamber Orchestra.
His upcoming performances include appearances with the Athens State Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra, and Meiningen Staatskapelle.
Jonian currently performs on a 1749 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin, on loan from a private donor.
