Toto Cutugno celebrates the 50th anniversary of his music career

He is undoubtedly one of the artists who has been marking generations. Toto Cutugno celebrates this year the 50th anniversary of his music career. The Italian artist has composed more than 400 songs, most of them performed by major orchestras. He is the author of many successful great art songs such as Joe Dassin, Dalida, Adriano Celentano, Gerard Lenorman, Hervé Vilard, Luis Miguel, Michel Sardou, Mireille Mathieu, Peppino di Capri, Jose Luis Rodriguez and the band Ricchi and Poveri.

His success “L’italiano” was even best-selling in 1981 = 1986 and is sung worldwide in more than 160 performances. 14 times participating in Sanremo from 1970-2008, being the first songwriter to win a major prize in 1980. He also won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1990. Toto Cutugno is a very good instrumentalist, playing 9 instruments. .
