“Sounds from Albania” Silva Skënderi and Alban Pengili concert in Germany

“Sounds From Albania” is the title of the December 21 concert that invites lovers to the Kapitelsaal der Burg Lüdinghausen Hall. In front of the audience will be pianist Silva Skenderi and violinist Alban Pengili. The concert kicks off at 7pm on Saturday December 21st. In a press release, Förderverein der Musikschule says the violin teacher at the Lüdinghausen School of Music and his Albanian patriot will perform together. Silva Skender is a piano lecturer at the University of the Arts in Tirana. Pengili has often interpreted in the past years; His permanent repertoire includes, among other things, 24 Paganini’s Capricorns and all Baha’s Sonatas and Partitions. This evening, the program will feature works from his CD “100 Years Albania” featuring violin and piano works by Albanian composer Pjeter Gaci, as well as popular pieces from Sinding, Gardel, de Falla, Sarasate, Saint-Saëns , Elgar, Wieniawski, Tchaikovsky and Paganini. In addition, Pengili will also present a special creation – the Albanian Waltz of Love. Much has been said recently about the two artists’ home, most recently due to severe earthquakes and delaying EU membership. This is the second concert of a series of concerts supported by the Förderverein der Musikschulkreis.
