The excellent Ramë Lahaj concert in Skopje
Our art-loving audience attended the big names that brought the festival “The Scene of Serious Albanian Music”. Artists of the most influential scenes of the opera world were part of the evening of April 4 in Skopje. However, we can not deny the superstitions that the concert of April 4 at the Opera of North Macedonia had under its umbrella. It was surprising but at the same time unexplained the reason that this concert was undergoing radical changes in the whole structure that was conceived. The opera of North Macedonia does not respond to the demands of the artists who would be on stage and in this context saw it reasonable that the concert be conducted without orchestra. I do not want to invent things or kind material that the orchestra did such a thing for “nationality” because we think such things do not belong to art, and even more so in the 21st century. These are some of the performed works:
“Tosca – Recondita Armonia”, “Lucia di Lammermoor – Regnava nel silenzio”, “Lucia di Lammermoor – Verranno a te sull’aure”, “Turkish Marsh”, “Dona Carlos – Nell’alma infondere amor”, “Un Ballo in Maschera – Alzati”, “Rigoleto – La donna e mobile”, “Tosca – E luce van le stele”, “La Boheme – Che gelida manina”, “Romeo & Juliet – Fantasy”, “La Traviata – Parigi o cara”, “Rigoleto – Bella figlia dell’amore”, “Core n’grato”, “O sole Mio”, “Agimet Shqiptare”.
The entire repertoire we mentioned above was under the leadership of artists such as Ramë Lahaj, Venera Gimadieva, Bogdan Baciu, Irena Kavkalevska and the pianist Genc Tukiçi. The concert also had a variety of formations, bringing duets, quartets, and piano works.
