Takes place in Skopje the premiere of “Skanderbeg” opera

The Orchestra and Ensemble of the Opera Ballet and the National Ballet of Northern Macedonia are performing the “Skanderbeg” opera by composer Fatos Lumani on Monday, December 23. The show, which has started at 8pm, is bringing to the audience of the neighboring capital, the choir, orchestra, and the Opera and Ballet Ensemble. The orchestra and choir of this premiere performance is being directed by the Albanian conductor living and working in Britain, Olsi Qinami.

The show  will be staged by Qendrim Rijani, Arian Krasniqi’s librette, choreographed by Artan Ibërshimi, while the costumes are designed by  Marija Pupucevska.

Concerning the lyric performers in this scene, some of the most popular voices of the Albanian Opera and Ballet Theater are such as: tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri, baritone Armando Likaj, soprano Nina Muho.

Opera “Skanderbeg” by Albanian composer Fatos Lumani, a graduate of the Academy of Arts (today Art University) in Tirana, highlights the performance of musicians coming from almost all Albanian territories.

The ballet corp is composed by: Agim Bafti, Eva Dzhingova, Martina Dimovska, Matea Ilievska, Stefanija Kuzmanovska, Arta Qaili, Antonija Dimitrievska, Tijana Avramovikј, Bojan Dimovski, Veselin Trajkovski.
