Inaugurated the monument dedicated to John Lennon

The monument dedicated to John Lennon has been inaugurated today in Ancona. The 2.5m high is called “Imagjino paqen” and is realized by artist Stefania Ricci and is installed in the park of the city that is called “Peace Park”. The work was inspired by a pyramid form of mathematician Alexander Golod, but with drawings and scripts such as John Lennon Wall in Prague. This initiative was born out of BeatleSenigallia, the association that promotes the distribution of music and messages of peace, love and brotherhood that were quite characteristic of the Quartet texts from Liverpool. The mayor of the city has said: “We need symbols of peace and hospitality, not the walls at the borders between our countries and not the pushing of people towards the sea.”
