From Peja to Prague, “Albanian Music for Flute and Piano”

Two pedagogues from the “Haxhi Zeka” University of Peja, Kosovo, performed last weekend at the University of the Performing Arts in Prague.

 

“Albanian music for flute and piano” was titled the concert where Dardane Nallbani and Mimoza Drancolli performed on the flute and piano respectively. In this guest concert was the pianist Egli Prifti who has been living and practicing his activity in Prague for years.

 

Attending the concert were the Albanian Ambassador to this country, friends and lecturers and students of this University.

 

In the program were Albanian works by composers: Cesk Zadeja, Rauf Dhomi, Bashkim Shehu, Thoma Simaku, Ramadan Sokoli, Rexho Mulliqi, Albert Paparisto etc.

 

The concert was held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 7pm in Galery Hall, Hamu, Prague.

 

The concert held at the Faculty of Music and Ballet at the University of Performing Arts in Prague was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Prague and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
