National Geographic a documentary dedicated to Aretha Franklin

The prestigious National Geographiv channel has announced that it will launch on the third season of the Genius cycle. The main character of this production will be Aretha Franklin. The queen of Soul music will come under the interpretation of singer and songwriter Cynthia Erivo. The actress is also known for the trophies earned in the Broadway musical “The Color Purple” for which she won Tony and Grammy awards. In this film, the audience will travel in their lives and follow the well-known and successful songs like: “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You),” “Chain of Fools,” “Don’t Play That Song (You Lied) ”or“ Baby I Love You. ”

Freeway of Love, “” I Knew You Waiting (for Me) “or” Sisters Are Doin ‘It for Themselves. ”

Her strength, passion and spirit are embedded in her immortal legacy, not in the form of an artist but as a legend in one’s rights ”. Evrio further stated, “It is an honor to be able to bring back her heritage and to be able to show how fulfilled and brilliant she has been as a human being.”
