Miguel, from underground to the Grammy awards

Miguel is one of the artists known for switching from underground to mainstream where he has become an important figure for pop and R & B with candidacy and Grammy prizes. Born and raised in Los Angeles but with Mexican and African roots, Miguel has experimented with music since he was 13 years old. He writes and composes the songs themselves by praising for the special voice. Three years ago, he was part of a group called Drop Squad and two other groups. In 2006 Miguel launched the first song entitled Getcha Hands Up! “While the first album titled” Young & Free “was released by Universal music. Though it only happened once, it became increasingly popular thanks to collaborations with renowned artists of the underground scene. The 2010 Debut album I made slowly known in the commercial music market by paving the way for many collaborations. This album titled “All I Am You Are” entered the Top Ten on “Billboard Hot R & B / Hip-hop” and “Top 40” on “Billboard 200”. “Kaleidoscope Dream” was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album, while the “Adorn” part of the same album was nominated in three categories and won the Best R & B Song Award. Miguel collaborated with Mariah Carey on the song Beautiful launched a year later she received the platinum disc. Later he collaborated with numerous artists such as J. Cole, Big Sean, Jessie Ware, Santana, Ludacris or A $ AP Rocky. The third studio album enrolled in the “Wildheart” studio launched in 2015 debuted in “Top Five of the Billboard 200”. He is part of the new generation of R & B artists including Frank Ocean, Theeeknd and Elle Varner. Critics have defined the style as an eclectic and artsy combination of R & B. he is often compared to BabyFace or Prince. With an unmistakable talent and voice, Miguel is in a constant evolution as composer and producer skills are rated as the most popular in music.
