Metallica donates 250,000 euros to Romanian pediatric Oncologist hospital
On August 14th, the legendary Metallica band returned to Bucharest for the fourth time. The last time was 9 years ago. At the World Tour, the band also included Bucharest, reaching a record number of spectators at the National Arena. There were 50,244 spectators in the stadium according to organizers. The band also received the Platinum Disc in Romania for the album “Hard … to Self-Destruct”,
The National Arena had never been more full at a concert than on the evening of August 14th. For two and a half hours James Hetfield (vocals), Lars Ulrich (drums), Kirk Hammett (guitar) and Robert Trujillo (bass) donated an evening full of new and earlier successes full of light effects. The tour began in early May and has so far recorded 1.5 million tickets sold at 25 concerts it is holding in Europe. The tournament will close this month in Germany.
