When “The Beatles” conquered the world charts

On September 28, 1968 the band “The Beatles” topped the Billboard charts with the song “Hey Jude” written by Paul McCartney.

As today but decades ago one of the most popular songs of the band “The Beatles” reached the top of American classifications.

A year ago on July 19, 1967 the band captured the top of the British classifications with ‘All You Need Is Love’.

This song became the motto and soundtrack of many programs, sung on many holidays and has entered the world repertoire.

The world continues to honor the memory of legendary band member John Lennon.

The monument to Lennon was inaugurated in July in Ancona, Italy. The 2.5-meter-high work is titled “Imagine Peace” and was performed by artist Stefania Ricci and installed in the city park now dubbed “Peace Park”.
