The “Minguet” quartet opens the International Chamber Music Festival

The International Chamber Music Festival will begin tonight in 2019. Concerts of the 14th edition will be held in the lobby of the city’s Archeological Museum from 4 to 12 July. This year’s edition of the festival will also include instrumentalists from Italy and Austria.

 

To open this edition will be presented tonight the Quartet “Minguet”, among the most valued and most wanted to interpret in the important music halls.

 

This formation was established in 1988 with instrumentalists from Germany. In 2010 the quartet with German instrumentalists was honored by Echo Klassik and in 2015 by Diapason d Or.

 

On Saturday, July 6, the program will continue with the Piano Quartet Concert by the University of Arts, Tirana.

The program will continue on Tuesday 9 July with the trio “Ad libitum” concert under the performance of instrumentalists from North Macedonia. On Friday, July 12th, the durrsak art-loving audience will enjoy the duo concert sounds with the participation of David Martin in cello and Miguel Ortega on piano from Spain.

 

The last evening on Sunday July 21 will be closed with the concert of the orchestra of students from the University of Arts in Tirana under the direction of Orazio Baronello and soloist Laura Llozi in violin.

 

To enjoy the first night of the International Chamber Music Festival tonight the event starts at 19.30.
