Scala Philharmonic a gift concert in Milano
The June 9th concert of Philharmonic will be free. For the seventh year in a row, the Skala Philharmonic will be giving Milan a concert. On June 9, the orchestra under the direction of Riccardo Chailly will perform a show at the Duomo, in a spectacle to be broadcast live on Rai 5 starting at 21.15. this concert will be seen abroad not only in Europe and the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.
The program includes the New World Symphony by Antonin Dvorak and a homage to Nino Rotta four decades after death with the La Strada ballet from Felin’s film. Also in this number will be played other parts from the soundtrack and the Orchester Probe. “If the public is going to be warm for biz we will have a Mexican Habanera,” said the conductor. This year there are no big soloists because the orchestra itself will be such, beyond the program the novelty of this concert will be the concert that conveys the message (plastic-free) plastic-free.
