Fausto Di Cesare with “In memoriam” concert in Tirana
Fausto Di Cesare pianist and orchestra director, is among the most well-known Italian musicians. Saturday, dt. November 24, 2018 at 19.00 he will perform in the hall of the University of Arts in Tirana. Duo in violin & piano composed by Albanian violinist Anyla Kraja and pianist Di Cesare will bring together the concert “In memoriam” (for all the missing artists). The concert is held in memory of those who created the foundations of our musical art that have left to us the artistic levels we enjoy. But let’s get to know more about the evening pianist, a well-known musician. Fausto di Cesare studied at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome under the guidance of great masters: Renzo Silvestri, Guido Agosti, Guido Mortari, Franco Ferrara. He is the winner of various important prizes in the International Violin Competition of Vercelli (1965), Casella di Napoli (1966), Casella di Napoli 1966 and in 1967 is the winner of the absolute prize at the Casagradne International Competition in Terni. A great confirmation for this artist at RAI’s “Beethoven Prize 1970”. He has held concerts and masterclasses in many countries of the world such as: Canada, Brazil, Germany, Bulgaria. France, Uruguay, Turkey, Spain, Korea, Switzerland, Poland, Albania etc. He has performed in Italy as soloist with orchestra for the Ente and the Musical Association among the most important, such as: “Santa Cecilia” National Academy, RAI, Italian Radio Television, University Concert Institution, Symphony Orchestra of Rome, Academy “Chigiana” of Siena, “San Carlo” Theater in Naples, “Musical Afternoons” and “Concertos of Bossa” in Milan, “Aidem”, Bolzano Theater, “Ponchielli” Theater in Cremona, “The Symphonic Abrucez Institution” Sirakuza etc.
