Ermal Meta nominated for the award “Amnesty International Italia”
When they are still a few days left from his concert in Tirana with the “GNU QUARTET” Ermal Meta is running for an important trophy.
The Italian news agency “ANSA” announces that 10 songs are in the “Amnesty International Italia” competition, from the category of Big Singers. Selection is a historic acknowledgment to the songs written by affirmed Italian artists that last year touch on human rights issues.
Carmen Consoli with the song “Men topo”, Francesca Michielin with “Bolivia”, Ghali with “Cara Italia”, Patrizia Laquidara with “The Great Woman”, Roy Paci & Aretuska feat. Willie Peyote with “Salvagente”, Punkreas with U-salts, Radiodervish with “New Slave”, Salmo me “90 min”, Subsonica with “Critical Point” and Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro with the song “Non mi avete fato niente “.
This award was born in 2003 in the framework of the Festival entitled “Voices for Freedom” – a song for “Amnesty”.
The trophy is provided by a jury of radio and television journalists, scholars and the Festival’s admirers, and the prestigious names of “Amnesty and Voci per la Liberta”.
