Wuhan, thousands of people dance at a music festival
In Wuhan, where the coronavirus pandemic began, people are trying to resume life as normal as it was before the crisis.
Among the activities considered normal was a party with techno music.
Thousands of Chinese danced close to each other without wearing a mask at a party in a swimming pool park.
This came at a time when such activities are banned worldwide due to fears of an increase in the number of people affected by the new coronavirus.
Although the pandemic has not gone away yet, the Water Park Maya Beach did not seem to hold all the attendees who danced almost next to each other.
All this when over 21 million people in the world have been infected and 766,000 have died.
The images filmed by the AFP news agency have created a lot of outrage on social media. Here are some comments from people on Twitter:
“In this way we can provoke a second or third wave of pandemics! This is nonsense!
“Many people are suffering, thousands have died, millions have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, while you have the innocence to hold a big party in a pool. You are sick!”
