Dritan Gani brings to Tirana the concert on the anniversary of Da Vinci
He has been living and working in Ankara for 23 years. The lecturer at the Faculty of Music and member of the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra (BSO) Dritan Gani continues the concert activities. With recitals, as a soloist with chamber music formations, the renowned Albanian instrumentalist participates in international activities outside of Turkey, attending congresses, festivals and workshops in various countries, such as the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, England and others. David Heyes addressed an invitation to musicians on the occasion of Leonardo Da Vinci’s 500th anniversary. Activities in honor of genius are being held around the world. The works written on this occasion were performed on May 2, 2019 in England, the very day that coincides with the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s death.
Dritan is bringing this project to Albania with the support of the Ministry of Culture and will also carry it out to Ankara next month, on October 21, 2019. The concert in Tirana will take place on September 19, 2019 at the Jordan Misja Artistic Lyceum. Along with well-known instrumentalist Gani, will be the soprano Sarah Poole and David Heyes.
This trio will donate to the audience an evening of premiere works in Albania.
The concert kicks off at 7pm and will be held in the “Tony Harapi” Hall of the “Jordan Misja” Lyceum.
