The romanian conductor Măcelaru takes the music direction of the French National Orchestra
Starting from September 1, 2020, the Romanian conductor Cristian Măcelaru has taken over the position of Music Director of the French National Orchestra.
The well-known conductor took over the task sooner than was determined as a result of the resignation of Emmanuel Krivine, who resigned in May.
Cristian Măcelaru will hold his first concert as artistic director of the French National Orchestra on September 24 in the “Grand Auditorium” of Radio France.
The program includes works by Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns and Serghei Rahmaninov.
