Cristiano Chiarot leaves Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

Cristiano Chiarot, in charge for the direction of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,  will not renew the contract and will wait for his mandate to expire on 28 July. This is how the Italian agency ANSA announced. This decision came after Mayor Dario Nardella has chosen to leave the presidency of the Mayan Salvo Nastasi Foundation. This was explained by Chiarot himself, explaining that a few days ago he had sent Nardella a letter expressing his purpose. “I’m leaving quiet -tha, I would not be sorry to stay still but things have changed. I am also glad that Salvo Nastasi comes to Florence, it is right for him to elect his leader. I was in charge of selecting Nardella. Of course I will not retire. “He said he felt” embarrassed “about the communication in which Palazzo Vecchio had announced that he could not confirm because he reached retirement age.” If he asks for any other theater he will not hesitate to go. I have asked for a legal study that says I could stay in the direction, “said the Italian agency ANSA.
