The Bologna Philharmonic Academy has inaugurated Mozart’s new hall
The Bologna Philharmonic Academy has inaugurated Mozart’s new hall, inside the premises of the Carrati Palace. This is also the historical location of the institution where the manuscript edited on October 9, 1770 by 14-year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, along with other documents and items related to the case, is on display. Overcoming this test gave Mozart the right to be associated with this historic Bologna institution and its title “Master Composer”. The hall is inaugurated by the president of the Philharmonic and its archivist.
The inauguration of this hall also precedes the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the connection with the Mozart Philharmonic Academy, events to be held during 2020. The Academy was the only protagonist of the trip that Italy made to Mozart, a journey he took with his father to carry on this exam at the palace.
