One of the greatest authors of contemporary music fills the years today, 91 years of a legend like Burt Bacharac. Bacharach was born in 1928 in Kansas City. His musical activity has started before the big war, playing with different jazz bands. After a period of military service, he started his career as a songwriter. His first 1957 hit is “The story of my life”, performed by Marty Robbins. After this success, Bacharach continues his successes from “Magic Moment” (sung by Perry Como in 1958) to find the perfect sound for his songs Dionne Warwick. For him, he has signed the most important works of the 60s “Anyone who had a heart,” “Walk on by,” “I say a little prayer,” and “Do you know a way to San Jose?”. Until last year where pianist, composer and record label Bacharach has held live concerts in different countries, it remains to wait to see if 91 years old will continue to give concerts to his fans.
