Successful performances of Albanian musicians in Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) of Germany
Let us begin this article with the canto student Kejti Karaj at the “Folkwang Universität der Künste” Art Faculty located in Essen, Germany. Kejti Karaj had one of the leading roles in the opera “The Fairy Queen” by composer Henry Purcell, performed in the “Neue Aula” hall of the Folkwang Universität der Künste (University of Arts), premiere on 07.12.17, the repertoire will be shown on 09, 11 and 13.12.17. Kejti continues her studies for canto at this university and it has been a very good start to gaining experience in playing roles in Baroque-style opera. This role (Sommeliere Pricilla Bucks) was performed by Kejti at the right level and was beautifully ambushed by the audience. This opera is played with instruments of the Baroque era and the composer has certainly succeeded in this theatrical work. Being composed in 1692, this semi-opera (a special form of Baroque opera in England) is sung, danced, recited, and co-chatted. This opera was composed in honor of Queen Mary of England. The violinist Alban Pengili was introduced at the “August Eveding” chamber music hall in Bottrop town with the quintet and piano on 08.12.17. One of the works that was played during the concert was the “Four Seasons”, composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Alban played the solo violin in this musical formation. This concert was greatly appreciated by Bottrop’s audience. Our very successful soloist (soprano) Elbenita Kajtazi, had many engagements in leading roles in the operas shown this month. Elbenita played the role of Pamina in the opera “Zauber flöte” at the “Semper Oper” in Dresden. Then the role of Gretel in the opera “Hänsel und Gretel”, the role of Musette in opera “La Boheme” and Adele in the opera “Fleder maus” in “Alto teather” Essen. Next season Elbenita will be active at the opera house in Hamburg. Ermir Qiriqi, our cornetist, presents through a video on YouTube Channel, the “Pieces for piano” of composer Francis Poulenc. The realization of this work was certainly at the right level. The voice was achieved at the “Robert Schumann University” studios in Düsseldorf, whilst the video was taken at the zinc factory museum in Oberhausen, Altenberg (Zinkfabrik Altenberg). While our conductor and pianist, Desar Sulejmani, who has gained success in his musical career in Germany and other countries, had achieved several engagement in activities this month with various musical ensembles. At the concert held on 09.12.17 in the Petri church in Mülheim an der Ruhr with the symphonic orchestra of Essen, consisting of 70 instrumentalists, he was greatly admired and applauded by the city’s art-lovers. Desar this month had other activities with musical ensembles as well as pianist.
PS. The author of this article is also a member of the symphonic orchestra, playing the Oboe instrument.
Indeed, our artists are leaving indelible marks on the musical life of this German province. We hope that these artists will continue their musical activities and gain further success and recognition. All of these artists are more than willing to contribute to their hometown if they receive an invitation.
