Poland with “Superhero” wins Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019

Poland with the song “Superhero” sung by Viki Gabor won the European Children’s Song Festival.

 

This is the second time Poland wins this competition. Even last year the host country had won the competition with singer Roksana Wegiel and the song “Anyone i want to be”.

 

Kazakhstan came in second and Spain third.

 

At the end of the race Poland secured 278 points.

 

In this competition, Albania received 36 points out of which 7 points from state juries and 29 from viewers. Points received by Georgian and Russian juries and viewer points ranked 17th out of 19 participating states.

 

Junior Eurovision is an open competition for children aged 9 to 14 years.

 

This year the festival was held in Gliwice, Poland. Albania participated with the song “My childhood friend” sung by Isea Chili.

 

The song was composed by Saimir Chili while the lyrics were written by Jorgo Papingji

 

Albania participated in this event for the sixth time.
