Official UEFA Europa League Anthem performed by David Garrett

While waiting for the final of the UEFA Europa League, David Garrett has launched a new version of the anthem of this sports competition. The violinist performs alone in the empty stadium. This version of the anthem entitled “Symphony of Silence” was designed to convey and represent the emotions inspired by the empty stadiums during the COVID-19 crisis.

The clip was recorded in the empty stadium along with Luke Bannister who is a five-time world champion in drone racing. The clip was first launched at the start of the UEFA Europa League final on the website of Hankook, which is also UEFA’s main partner, on Youtube and Instagram.

“I am very pleased to have contributed to this project through the interpretation of the wonderful anthem of the UEFA Europa League. As a musician, the essence of my activity is to create emotions. “I am grateful for the trust that Hankook and UEFA have given me and I hope that both the melody and the music video express the emotions I felt on the pitch and inspire football fans around the world during this period,” said Garrett.

Worshiped by millions around the world, David Garrett still has millions of tickets sold, is the holder of 23 gold discs and 16 platinum plates obtained in Hong Kong, Germany, Mexico, Taiwan, Brazil, Singapore. The artist combined the charisma of a rock star with the innate virtuosity of the best instrumentalists of our time.
