New stage in Enkelejda Kamani’s career
Albanian soprano Enkelejda Kamani has earned the right to follow the studies at the La Scala Academy. Here she will pass a 2-year perfecting process for young people of lyricism. This academy was founded by Riccardo Muti in 1997 under the direction of Leyla Gencer. The Academy of Perfection of Lyrical Singers follows the legacy of the school of “Scala” founded by Arturo Toscanini in 1950 and leads further to the Italian lyric tradition. But before he starts the Academy, Enkelejda has won the audition for doing two roles in the Hänsel und Gretel-Humperdinck opera and going to resume the tests after two weeks have completed in July.
After her production in Scala, she begins her “Magic Flute” with the Italian Music Concert Society (AsLiCo) where she will play the role of Paminas. With this work, she will perform 10 shows in the Lombardy, Bergamo, Kremona, Pavia, Brescia and Comos areas. In this show will also interpret tenor Klodian Kaçani in the role of Tamino.
Academic studies begin in October 2017 and continue until June 2019.
